Something new from VisionarySoundSystem. A venture into American politics. Now should a dub head from the Garden of England venture into U.S politics? Well as the U.S establishment sees its-self as the worlds policeman & given the "special relationship" with my homeland, the UK, I reckon why not. Now Donny T is a bit of a scary character. Kinda like a dim & spiteful avator that a HAL-9000 on acid mixed with Dr Evil from the Austin Powers movies would invent. But there is also an unreal cartoonishness about him. A buffonary that is more Laurel & Hardy then Chaplins The Great Dictator. So Donny in Dub with a cartoonish innocence (Trumpton. An ole fashioned UK kids programme from back in the days of monochrome). The track is long. 8 minutes 30 seconds. 85 bpm & based around an original VSS track, Bright Bright Star Dub Version. I was going to put this over a pumpin' dance track but I work most honestly in Dub so decided to go with it. May yet try this over some bangin' dance vibes. The Trump speech parts are from a video montage that Rachel Maddow done for MSNBC news channel. I have chopped it a bit to say the least. The image is from rackjite.com. Hope you enjoy.
